The “Bocata de la Valldigna” —with grilled figatells, botifarrons, grilled onions, melted cheese, and truffle mayonnaise—has won the title of best sandwich in the Valencian Community at the 2026 Spanish Sandwich Championship.
The Casa Marina bar, located on Avenida La Valldigna in Benifairó de la Valldigna, has won with a dish that encapsulates much of the tradition of the Valencian esmorzar: local ingredients, grilled flavors, and rich taste.
The “Bocata de la Valldigna” leaves no doubt as to its identity. It features grilled figatells and botifarrons, caramelized onions, melted cheese, and a touch of truffle mayonnaise that rounds out the dish.

The full lunch costs 9 euros, and the special costs 10 euros.
Second place went to La Mesedora and its “El Panxeta,” and third place to “El Potro de Cal Carrero,” from the Cal Carrero restaurant.

Casa Marina is known for its hearty breakfasts and its cremaets. It is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
