The Valencia Half Marathon will be held this coming Sunday, October 26, starting at 8:25 am. As usual days before the big race, the organization has provided information on the collection of bibs, public transport options and parking areas enabled before the race.
The start of the race will take place in Tarongers Avenue, in the section near the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), while the finish line will be located in the same avenue, near the Faculty of Economics (UV).
The start of the race will be done by boxes, depending on the time accredited by each runner.
When is the bib pick-up for the Valencia Half Marathon?

The collection of race bibs and runner’s bag will take place at the Expo 21K, in Pavilion 5 of Feria Valencia, on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
To collect the material, it will be necessary to present the QR code sent by the organization and an official identity document.
How to get to the start of the Valencia Media by public transport?

As for public transport, Metrovalencia will operate normally, and the recommended stations are Aragón and Facultats (lines 3 and 5), 1.3 km and 1.4 km from the start respectively, and Amistat station (line 7), 1.5 km away.
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) will provide on Sunday morning a special metro service will transfer participants from the stations of Seminari (line 1) and Paterna (line 2) at 06:45 hours and 06:50 hours, respectively, to the capital.
Also on the occasion of the celebration of this event, the service of lines 4 and 6 will be partially interrupted as the race will affect its route. The sections affected are those connecting Doctor Lluch-Pont de Fusta, which will have no service between 06:40 and 12:00 hours, and Marítim-Tossal del Rei, with no service, also at that time.
EMT lines C3, 99 and 71 are the closest to the departure area. However, the organization warns that these lines will suffer detours due to traffic cuts, so users are advised to check the official EMT application to verify stops and schedules.
The EMT will also suppress lines C1, 19, 30, 31, 31, 40, C2, 92, 93, 94 and 95 for the duration of the race.
Where can I park my car?
For private vehicles, there are several parking areas near the start:
- Universitat Politècnica (UPV): Two parking lots with a total of 1,150 spaces (470 and 680), operating from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, located 650 meters from the start.
- Mestalla Stadium: Nearly 400 spaces available, 1.2 km from the starting area.
- Arena Shopping Center: Free parking from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- Doctor Lluch: with 165 parking spaces.
In addition, there will be an area for parking bicycles and private scooters near the checkroom, and shared mobility services such as Valenbisi and ‘motosharing’ will be available.
However, traffic restrictions may make it difficult to move around. Tarongers Avenue, between V-21 and Enginyer Fausto Elio, will be closed in both directions from Friday 24, at 22:00 hours, until Sunday 26 at 21:00 hours.
On the same Sunday, surface accesses to the Avinguda Catalunya-Tarongers traffic circle will be closed and traffic will be diverted inside the V-21 tunnel, from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., while the rest of the route will be closed from 7:30 a.m. onwards.
