The Association of Merchants of Valencia’s Historic Center and Ensanche District has launched a discount voucher campaign to mark its 33rd anniversary: for 25 euros, the buyer will receive a 50-euro gift card to spend at participating businesses in the city center.
The initiative, dubbed Bono Centro 2026, will put a total of 760 vouchers into circulation and mobilize 66,000 euros for spending at local businesses.
The association will cover half the cost (33,000 euros), while the buyer will contribute the remaining 25 euros per voucher, which effectively means shopping at half price at any of the nearly 500 participating businesses.
The vouchers will be raffled off
To ensure equitable distribution, the vouchers will not be sold on a first-come, first-served basis: access is determined by prior registration followed by a drawing conducted before a notary.
Those interested must register at bonocentro.com between April 14 and 19, providing their first and last names, phone number, mailing address, and email address.
The drawing will take place on the morning of April 20 and will generate a list of winners and a waiting list, both of which can be viewed on the official website.
Those selected will receive an email notification and will have 72 hours to pay the 25 euros.
If they do not do so within that timeframe, their voucher will automatically be passed on to the next person on the waiting list.
Each ID or NIE number is eligible for only one voucher, and the applicant must be at least 16 years old.

The vouchers will be issued in the form of a prepaid bank card managed by Caixa Popular and can be picked up in person on May 4, 5, and 6 at the Association’s Info Point, located in the Town Hall Square in front of the old Post Office building, during morning hours (9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and afternoon hours (3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).
The validity period will run from the date of pickup through May 31, 2026. The balance can be spent in one or multiple purchases, and consumers can check their available balance via a website.
