Color and social protest will once again take to the streets of Valencia this week. The 15th edition of the Russafa – Quatre Carreres Carnival already has an official calendar for 2026.
Under the slogan “for housing, health, and education,” the festival will expand this year to the neighborhoods of Malilla, Fuente de San Luis, and Monteolivete, also linked to Parc Central, which will host much of the program.
The Russafa Carnival is a fusion of cultures in which African communities such as Mali and Latin American communities such as Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Honduras, Brazil, and Ecuador participate with their own dances and a colorful and diverse show centered around music, dance, and culture.
