On Sunday, December 1, the 44th edition of the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon will be held. Thousands of runners will start from the Plaça de la Marató on the Montolivet Bridge to run the 42km route through the city.
Because of the sporting event, there will be traffic restrictions from Friday, November 29.
Below, we tell you how the Valencia Marathon 2024 will affect traffic on a day-to-day basis.

November 29th
From Friday at 22h, traffic will be closed on the Montolivet Bridge in both directions. Also the Professor López Piñero road in the direction towards the city center, as the starting arch will be set up there.
On the other hand, from 10 p.m. on Friday until 6 a.m. on Saturday, both directions of traffic on Germans Maristes and Institut Obrer de Valencia avenues will be closed .
November 30th
On the occasion of the Mini-Marathon to be held on Saturday, November 30, from 6 am to approximately 2 pm, the Albereda between Plaza Espanya and the Assut de l’Or Bridge will be closed.
From 21h will be closed Alcalde Reig, between Pont del Regne and Avda. de la Plata, in the direction of entry to the city.
At 22h the same will be done in Professor López Piñero, between Alcalde Reig and Ricardo Muños Suay. At the same time, the avenues Germans Maristes and Instituto Obrer de Valencia will also be closed until 14h on Sunday.
December 1st
The cuts in the streets through which the Marathon will pass will be closed one hour before the start of the race. Below you can consult the map of the route.
EMT Valencia
EMT has planned 32 new routes from Friday until the end of the race to facilitate the transport of users within the city.
Sunday lines C1, 19, 30, 31, 32, 32, 40, 67, 70, 71, 73, C2, 81, 92, 93, 94, 95 and 98 will be removed . To access the Ciutat de les Arts, users will be able to use lines 35, 99 and C3.

Streetcar
- Line 4: Traffic cuts from 8am to 11:20am between Pont de la Fusta and Doctor Lluch.
- Line 8: It will not start running until 12:30h.
- Line 10: It will run between Alacant and Amado Ganell-Montolivet stations until 10:30h. From then on, it will return to its usual route.
