More than 100 years after its sinking, the Titanic continues to fascinate us. From its historic departure from the port of Southampton (England) to its final destination, its history gives rise to books, films and also exhibitions. This is the case of The Legend of the Titanic, an immersive experience to get to know in depth one of the most relevant historical events of the 20th century. The event will take place from February 27 at Bombas Gens Centre d’Arts Digitals and tickets are already on sale. Get them now to enjoy this exciting journey before anyone else.
The legend of the Titanic, which has already successfully passed through other cities such as Madrid and London or Vienna (more than 800,000 people have already enjoyed it), now docks in Valencia with new interactive installations created for the occasion. Thanks to them we will discover all the secrets of the Titanic, those that go beyond what you may have seen in the film (which also has a presence here) or in documentaries. It will do so through different formats that ensure disclosure and fun in equal parts and where the visitor, more than a simple spectator, will be an active part of the experience, becoming a witness and protagonist of this chapter of history.
All that can be seen in The Legend of the Titanic

The exhibition will have a part where the socio-cultural context of the time (1912) and the stories of the ship’s passengers (including Spaniards and Valencians) will be explained. This will be done through their real stories and an impressive collection of objects and costumes of the time that introduce us fully into the story. This also includes objects from the film Titanic (1997), James Cameron’s masterpiece.
You too can feel like Jack and Rose admiring the mythical staircase or peering over the bow of the ship, as well as discovering reproductions of other famous rooms of the ocean liner.
But the adventure goes further: as visitors we will accompany the Callaghan family, protagonists of the spectacular immersive film that will be projected in a room of 1,200m2. In addition, The Legend of the Titanic will feature two immersive virtual reality experiences.
On the one hand, one dedicated to the last moments of the Titanic Orchestra, where we will witness the courage and dignity of these musicians, who were at the foot of the cannon until the last moments. On the other hand, a stunning metaverse experience that puts us right inside the ship: from a tour of the most iconic rooms to the moment of the sinking, culminating with an unprecedented walk through the depths of the ocean, in search of the wreck.
The Legend of the Titanic will feature an original soundtrack composed by musician and composer René Merkelbach and performed by a symphony orchestra of more than 50 musicians.
