Valencia is a city with a lot of history and culture. Its beginnings date back to Roman times and, since then, it has not stopped growing and changing. For this reason, being able to travel through the history of Valencia over the centuries is a unique opportunity that allows us to think about the past to understand our present.
On the occasion of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Municipal Archaeological Research Service, an exhibition has been inaugurated at the Valencia City Hall that seeks to show citizens how the city has been transformed from its beginnings to the present. It is “75 years, 75 fish. A look at the history of SIAM”.
The tour shows 75 pieces representative of all the historical stages of Valencia and the exhibition has been organized as if it were an archaeological excavation, in which one moves through room after room as if advancing through the terrain, according to José Luis Moreno, the councilman of Historical Heritage.
The exhibition will remain open until June 29, 2029 and admission will be free.
