The Festival de les Arts will refund the full amount of Saturday day tickets—General, VIP, and Golden VIP—and the remaining balance of wristbands, in addition to 50% of the price of all types of passes. The organization has described the situation as “enormously sad” and has promised to handle the process “as quickly and simply as possible.”
The decision comes after the suspension of the festival’s second day, announced by the Valencia City Council and the public company Cacsa less than an hour before the show was set to begin. The reason: noise levels recorded on Friday exceeded the 85-decibel limit allowed on the stages and surpassed 55 decibels in nearby residences, exceeding the limits set by the municipal noise ordinance.
How refunds will be processed
The organization has not yet specified the channel or the exact deadlines for processing refunds, although it has confirmed that it will make the process available “soon.” Attendees who purchased a day pass for Saturday or any type of pass must wait until that mechanism is operational before initiating any claim.
