What is “The Jury Experience”?
It’s being a judge for a day, without the pressure of being a judge for a day. An immersive theater where professional actors interact with the audience and make them part of a moral debate full of forensic evidence, unexpected twists and a narrative worthy of appearing in your favorite true crime. Only this time you don’t have to wait to know the final decision, you are the one who makes it.

What is the trial about?
Artificial Intelligence seems to have come to make our lives easier… until it complicates it. A driverless car controlled by AI causes a fatal accident, there is a fatality and there is only one question in the air: who is to blame? “The company that developed the software”, “what about the humans involved, honestly they could have prevented it”, “I would say the government, they should not have approved its circulation”. Many theories and many possible culprits, but only one will be convicted… or released. There are no right or wrong answers, only one decision: and you decide.

The venue chosen to host this experience, the emblematic Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia, is wheelchair accessible. And although it is not a real courtroom, it is decorated and prepared as such, making its aesthetics as realistic as possible to that of the place where a court case would be discussed on this topic: Artificial Intelligence. A debate as controversial as current on which they can reflect on this experience designed for over 12 years.
It has two possible sessions that will have tests, interactions with the public and a final that may (or may not) have the same outcome: the vote of the final verdict.
