Although the peak festival season is in the summer, some festivals get a head start on the craze, taking advantage of the pleasant Mediterranean spring weather. This is the case with SanSan Festival, which is taking place right now in Benicàssim (April 2–4, right in the middle of Holy Week). It opens today, and there are still a few passes and tickets left to enjoy the festival: you can get them here (hurry before they sell out).
Below we break down the lineup by day, featuring performances by 41 artists and bands who, over three days, will fill Benicàssim with indie and alternative music that’s perfect for partying.
Full lineup for SanSan Festival 2026

Lineup for Thursday, April 2
The festival kicks off strong, with this year’s only international guests headlining. They are the Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men, who blend folk and pop and will delight us with hits like “Little Talks ” and “Mountain Sound.” Joining them on stage are the highly acclaimed Love of Lesbian, a group that will be stopping by Benicàssim with their full arsenal of greatest hits.
We also highlight Siloé, who are in full swing with the release of several singles in 2025, hinting at an upcoming album; and the experience and expertise of León Benavente and Califato ¾, known for showcasing their Andalusian roots in each of their neo-flamenco tracks.
Lineup for Friday, April 3
April 3 is Good Friday, and when it comes to saints—or rather, queens—none compare to Rigoberta Bandini, who, following her successful Jesucrista Superstar tour, is making her first appearance at SanSan Festival. And the local touch to the headliners comes from Álvaro Lafuente, better known as Guitarricadelafuente, who will be playing on home turf, proving he’s at the peak of his artistic maturity (can’t wait to experience his Spanish Leather live).
Friday’s packed lineup is rounded out by timeless classics like La Casa Azul, the indie sounds of Xoel López, and Chiquita Movida, a brand-new band led by Rayden, who is taking a break from his solo career.
Lineup for Saturday, April 4
To wrap up the festival, nothing beats a veteran band and another that’s just getting started. On one hand, LA M.O.D.A., a septet with folk, blues, and rock & roll influences and countless gigs under their belt; on the other, Ultraligera, an alternative rock band active since 2021 but on a meteoric rise since 2024, when they sold out several prominent venues in Madrid.
Artists such as Barry B, Maria Arnal, and Sanguijelas del Guadiana round out the closing day of the SanSan Festival.
