The traditional New Year’s Eve race, the San Silvestre de Valencia, will celebrate its 40th edition on December 30 at 8 p.m. through the streets of the city center.
In total, 18,000 race bibs will be on sale this 2025 with a cost per runner of 2 euros. The race, which will run 5 kilometers through the historic center, will be donated to ASLEUVAL (Association of patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood diseases of the Valencian Community), the full proceeds of the race.
How to sign up for the Valencia San Silvestre 2025

The registration period for the popular modality will open this Friday, December 12. Bib numbers can be purchased at the sports floors of the El Corte Inglés centers in Valencia (Pintor Sorolla, Avenida de Francia, Nuevo Centro and Hipercor Ademuz) during business hours while stocks last.
On the other hand, the runners of the competitive modality, which has a limited quota of 300 places, must formalize their inscription exclusively in the offices of the S.D. Correcaminos (Arquebisbe Fabian i Fuero street, 14).
As an initiative to strengthen local commerce, the municipal markets will join the celebration by distributing the commemorative T-shirt of this 40th edition.
Participants who come with their bib number to any municipal market on December 26, 27 and 29 (from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm) will be able to pick up one of the 2,000 special edition units available.
The route of the race will run between Xàtiva street, Guillem de Castro, Torres de Serranos, Calle de la Paz and end at the Town Hall square.
