On Sunday, May 24 , Rocafort’s Plaza de España will host the first flea market featuring antique dealers, collectors, and vintage items to be held in the province of Valencia.
Organized by House&Market in collaboration with the City Council and the Provincial Council of Valencia, Rocafort Antic is inspired by a concept imported from France and Northern Europe, where antique dealers from all over Spain will sell their stock right off the truck, as they unload it.

Sarah and Helena Pla, founders of House&Market, have revealed to Valencia Secreta that there will be about 25 professionals who will open their trucks to display unique pieces never before offered for sale.
The concept of an “unpacking” event differs from a conventional flea market due to its almost theatrical nature: the public can view and purchase items on the spot, and it is designed for collectors, interior designers, and enthusiasts of decor with history and character.
Throughout the morning of May 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., merchandise will be released. In fact, some pieces will be visible much earlier—around 7 a.m. for early birds.
The mayor of Rocafort, Gorka Gómez, has emphasized that the initiative is intended to be a permanent fixture: RocafortAntic aims to establish itself as a biannual event within the municipality’s commercial calendar. “We want to continue filling our public spaces with activity, culture, and life,” he noted.
How to get to Rocafort Antic
Although the event will officially open to the public at 10 a.m., early birds will be able to access Plaza de España starting at 9:30 a.m.
To get there, the organizers recommend parking on Juan Carlos I Avenue, Blasco Ibáñez Avenue, and the adjacent streets, all just a few meters from the square.
It is also possible to get there by metro: the Rocafort stop on Line 1 is a five-minute walk away. Those needing to transport bulky purchases will have support staff to help carry them to their vehicles; additionally, some exhibitors will offer home delivery service.
It is advisable to bring cash, as not all stalls will have a card reader, although there is an ATM in Plaza de España itself.
