If you want to see the Battle of Flowers from one of its boxes, make a note of the date: from Thursday, July 17, at 12.00 noon, the registration period to participate in the draw that gives access to the purchase opens.
The process is done through the official website of the Batalla de Flors. To register, each person must fill out a form with their personal data: name, surname, ID card or passport, telephone and email.
The form only admits one registration per ID card, email and phone number. There is no limit to the total number of registrations, but each person is only allowed to participate once.
Registration will be open until 23:59 on Sunday, July 20.
At the end of registration, each person will be assigned a participation number and an access code to the sale, if selected.
The draw, which will be held before a notary, will be carried out by means of a computer program that will generate six random numbers, separated by a minimum of 73 numbers.
The first five numbers will mark the winning sections (73 numbers per section, including the initial one, for a total of 365 numbers with the right to buy a box), and the sixth number will define the beginning of the waiting list.
Both the winning numbers and the waiting list will be published on the official website prior to the purchase, which will begin on July 24.
In addition, those selected will receive an e-mail notification.
Calls to the waiting list will begin from July 25 (09:00 h), until July 26 (09:00 h). Boxes not purchased during the first period will be offered by telephone, in strict order of the waiting list, to those who are substitutes.
