Curro García is a young man from Seville who decided to embark on a musical career in the midst of lockdown. Almost six years later, the singer-songwriter has established himself on the emerging urban music scene under the stage name Q2. His first album is the starting point for his new tour, which will stop at Sala La3 in Valencia on March 6: get your tickets here.
Q2, an icon of retro reggaeton and urban music
Q2 is one of the most popular new artists among young audiences. With more than 175,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Q2 has achieved success with Fighter, a hit with 10 million plays. It is no surprise that he has been dubbed the “new Taburete” of the urban genre.
The Seville-born artist now presents his first full album, produced by Willi.ch, who has accompanied him since his early days. Entitled CUDO, this brand-new album is a tribute to his roots, full of references to his childhood, his family, and his friends.

CUDO, Q2’s debut album
Q2’s first release stems from a desire to pay tribute to his origins; in fact, the musician’s alias, the name of the album, and the closing track all share a common story. It is a nod to his childhood and his difficulty articulating the letter “r,” which led him to pronounce his own name, “Curro,” as “Cudo.”
This work reaffirms the chemistry between the artist and Willi.ch, who capture the essence of 2000s reggaeton through a completely new lens. After their concert in Valencia, the tour has upcoming stops in cities such as Santander, Pamplona, A Coruña, and Salamanca.
