The 13th El Perelló Tomato Fair, on the outskirts of Valencia, is here: it will be held on June 5, 6, and 7 in this district of Sueca.
The agricultural event, a showcase highlighting the quality of local tomatoes for their flavor and texture, will include tastings of local varieties and live cooking demonstrations.
The fairgrounds will also feature educational areas on cultivation techniques and the historical evolution of this food, which has traditionally been grown in beach sand.
In addition to tomatoes, at this fair you can buy local crafts and products such asoils, wines, cured meats, cheeses, sweets, and honey; take a break at one of the dozenfood trucksand bar stands from El Perellóthat will be set up; or shop in the fair’s small commercial section dedicated to cooking and gastronomy.
