Valencia has dawned this Thursday, October 23 with a new mark on the asphalt. An orange line of 21 kilometers already runs through the city and, from Sunday, October 26, will guide thousands of runners through its streets. It is the line that outlines the route of the Half Marathon, which will take place this weekend in Valencia.
This initiative is already common in the run-up to this popular race in the capital of the Turia. This year, the Half Marathon, in collaboration with the paint company Isaval, has drawn the route with the characteristic orange color of the race.
In total, 800 liters of paint have been used and spread throughout the city during the night. It is a special paint that, with the passage of time, traffic and rain, will disappear. ” The erasure is not instantaneous,” explained the organizers.
The Media, which will be disputed during the morning of Sunday, October 26, will affect the major roads of the city in its 21-kilometer route.
In blue for the marathon
The same line, but twice as long (42 kilometers), will be painted for the Valencia Marathon, to be held next December. As on this occasion, Isaval will collaborate with the organization of the race and will mark the asphalt with the distinctive blue color of the Valencia Marathon.
