Lovers of architecture, interior design and design, one of the most anticipated events returns to Valencia, the Open House Valencia 2024 (OHV).
It will be held from October 25 to 27 and, this edition, will last from 48 hours to 72. So over 3 full days we can visit for free more than 80 emblematic buildings of Valencia, attend round tables and participate in 15 guided tours of the city, most of them free.
Some of the buildings we will be able to see are El Patriarca, the Hortensia Herrera Art Center or the new campus of the European University. In addition, we can also visit some houses such as the Finca Roja or Santa María Micaela.
As a novelty, the festival will become part of Open House Europe, a network of architecture festivals that take place in other major cities on the continent.
How does the festival work?
Visits to the more than 80 buildings participating in the festival are free of charge. The buildings cannot be visited freely, but will have to be visited through guided tours that will be free of charge.
However, although most of the activities of Open House Valencia 2024 are free and no registration is required, some of them have limited capacity and will require prior registration, as well as paying for some of the 15 routes that will be made by the city.
In order for you to better understand the OPH 2024 program, we explain how it works. In general, there are 3 types of activities:
- Architectures: These activities are guided tours of the 83 buildings participating in Open House Valencia and no prior registration is required, entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Open Walks: These are free tours but require prior registration, as places are limited. Registration must be made from October 21.
- Satellite Activities: Depending on the activity they will be free, free access until full capacity, events that require an indication or premium experiences with ticket purchase.

3 Valencian municipalities join OHV
The city of Valencia will not be the only one to participate in these days, but three municipalities, Llíria, Cocentaina and Banyeres de Mariola, will also join.
During some of the weekends in October they will open the doors to the public of some of their historic buildings and several architectural routes have been organized for them.
