Valencia’s Municipal Transport Company (EMT) has scheduled two open days for September 18 and 19, as part of European Mobility Week. This program will allow citizens to learn about the inner workings of the company, from traffic management to fleet maintenance.
The visits, which will take place between 17:00 and 20:00, include a complete tour of three of its key facilities. The meeting point will be EMT’s head office (Plaza de Correo Viejo, 5), where attendees will visit the Citizen Service Office and the Traffic Regulation Center.

Afterwards, a bus will pick up the group at the Serrano Towers to take them to the San Isidro depot, where they will be able to see the depot. At the end of the visit, the same bus will take the participants back to the Serrano Towers.
Attendance requires prior registration, as places are limited. According to the organization, if the 17:00 hours are full, a second round of visits will be opened at 19:00 hours on both days.
In parallel, the Valencia Traffic Management Center will also organize open days at its facilities during that week.
Both initiatives will be in addition to the Car Free Day on September 22, when public transport will be free in Valencia.
