On Wednesday, the Valencia City Council approved the environmental and operating permit allowing the Valencian firm Atitlan to begin construction on two commercial towers next to the new Valencia CF stadium, on the lot located at the intersection of Bernardo España Street and Corts Valencianes Avenue.
Construction is expected to begin before the end of this month.
The club sold the land to Atitlan—a company co-owned by Aritza Rodero and Roberto Centeno—for approximately 35 million euros.
The project calls for a total buildable area of 40,000 square meters distributed across the two towers.
Three and a half years of construction in two phases
The project will take three and a half years to complete and will be carried out in two phases.
The full development of the towers, with phased delivery based on the use of each part of the complex, will take place in the second phase after the site has been leveled.
A shopping center, a hotel, and apartments
The environmental permit approved on Wednesday authorizes three distinct activities within the same real estate development:
- A shopping center integrated into the commercial complex.
- A 245-room hotel with 482 guest rooms.
- A hotel-apartment complex with 650 units and 1,300 guest rooms.
