The Valencian Regional Government has announced that it will launch the new Metrobús Line 120 in April, establishing a direct link between Valencia, Parc Sagunt, and Puerto de Sagunto.
The measure, authorized by the Board of Directors of the Valencia Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATMV), responds to a long-standing demand for better connectivity in the area and, in particular, from future employees of PowerCo, the Volkswagen Group’s battery manufacturing company set to begin operations at Parc Sagunt in the coming months.
The line will operate with four daily departures throughout the year: two in the morning, timed to coincide with the start of the workday, and two return trips in the afternoon.
Parc Sagunt is emerging as one of the main logistics and employment hubs in the Valencian Community, with the establishment of PowerCo as an industrial leader. The extension of the route to Puerto de Sagunto also expands the service’s reach to a population of nearly 45,000 residents, improving their access to the capital and enhancing territorial cohesion within the metropolitan area.
The buses, which are expected to be electric, will be fully accessible to people with reduced mobility and will incorporate geolocation systems that provide real-time information on arrival times at stops.
