Valencia will have its first fireworks display of the 2026 Fallas calendar this Saturday, January 17, 2026. In parallel with the presentation of the official 2026 Fallas fireworks calendar, Valencia will experience the first fireworks display of the festival with a daytime mascletá by Caballer FX.
The event, which was to be held this Friday, January 16, in the form of a fireworks display, has been postponed until the following day due to the death of former mayor Ricard Pérez Casado and the resulting three days of official mourning in the city.
At 1:00 p.m., the dates and companies responsible for the Fallas 2026 fireworks will be announced, followed by a mascletá at 1:45 p.m. in the Jardín del Túria, in front of Nuevo Centro and Novotel, the venue for the 20th Pyrotechnics Gala.
The display will consist of an aerial mascletá lasting approximately three minutes, with around 70 kilos of gunpowder, and can be viewed from the vicinity of this section of the old riverbed.
