The 13th edition of Abierto València, organized by the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries of the Valencian Community (LAVAC), will be held in Valencia from September 26 and the City Council of Valencia will offer as part of this event 4 free guided tours of the participating galleries, led by local artists.
The Department of Cultural Action has scheduled a series of visits that will tour the various exhibition spaces in the city. Those interested can register online starting today, September 10, through the link provided on the Turiart platform.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity is reached.

The tours, free of charge, will take place in two shifts: from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00.

In addition to the routes, the Abierto València program is complemented by parallel activities, such as an exhibition by Elena Asins at the Museo de la Ciudad and an exhibition by Mery Sales at the Galería del Tossal. The event will run until October 3, turning València into an epicenter of contemporary art.
One of the most outstanding novelties of this edition is the increase in the economic endowment for the acquisition of the work of the “Outstanding Artist”. The prize, which increases from 3,000 to 5,500 euros, will be awarded by a professional jury and the selected piece will become part of the municipal funds.
