The Conselleria de Hacienda y Economía has initiated the public auction of four real estate properties owned by the Generalitat, located in Valencia and Castellón de la Plana, for next January.
According to the announcement published this Thursday in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV), the total amount foreseen in the first auction is 964,309.55 euros, for the three properties on urban land and a house complete with parking space and storage room.
The property with the highest starting price is a former office in Paseo de la Alameda number 15 in Valencia, with a base price of 669,872.99 euros. It is followed by a house with parking space and garage in Carcagente street number 23 in Castellón de la Plana, valued at 146,773.56 euros.
More economical are a house in Avenida Cardenal Benlloch number 80 in Valencia, valued at 75,903.48 euros, and a property on urban land in Calle Morería number 2 in Castellón de la Plana, which starts at a value of 71,759.52 euros.
When will the auction take place and how to register?
The opening of bids will take place on January 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Conselleria de Hacienda y Economía in Valencia. All the documentation and information on the procedure is available telematically on the website of the Conselleria.
The procedure will be carried out by means of an economic proposal in a sealed envelope. Four successive auctions will be held for each lot; if the first one is deserted, the base price of the next one will be reduced by 15%.
The Councilor of Finance and Economy, Ruth Merino, said that this auction wants to “avoid the maintenance of unused properties or properties not suitable for administrative management that represent a cost for the public coffers”, in order to “transform them into assets that generate value for the Valencian society”.
Individuals or companies interested in participating must submit their bids within 20 working days from the publication of the announcement in the DOGV. To do so, it is necessary to provide a deposit equivalent to 5% of the base price of the lot for which they are bidding.
