Valencia City Council, through the Cabanyal-Canyamelar Plan Society, has announced the auction of 6 new properties, which include housing and commercial premises, in the Cabanyal-Canyamelar neighborhood with prices ranging from 95,000 to 160,000 euros as a starting point.
The six properties subject to the auction are located at Calle Àngels 22, Francisco Eximenis 28, and Canelles 20 (all of them with ground and second floor).
The surfaces of the homes range between 100 and 175 square meters, with average starting price is 950 euros per square meter, a figure “well below that of the area, and even below the average award price of the previous tender, which reached € 1,500 per square meter,” as detailed by the councilman of Urbanism, Housing and Licensing, Juan Giner.
Conditions of the auction of apartments in Cabanyal
This initiative is part of the actions for the residential and economic revitalization of the area.
The bidding conditions for the L2-025 tender, available from Monday on the Cabanyal Plan website and on the Public Sector Procurement Platform, specifically exclude the use of any property as a tourist apartment, seeking to promote residential use in the neighborhood.
The auction rules establish a points system to qualify for these homes. The economic offer will be valued with 35 points, while dedicating the property to habitual residence will award 30 points.
There are also 5 additional points for circumstances such as being under 35 years of age, being or having been a resident of the neighborhood, as well as specific valuations for people over 65 years of age, people with functional diversity and large or single-parent families.
How to visit and bid for the apartments in Cabanyal
The properties can be viewed from October 27 to November 21, by making an appointment through the website plancabanyal.es.
The deadline for the admission of bids will end on December 1.
