The Military Historical Museum of Valencia will host until September 11 the new exhibition of Playmobil dioramas, organized together with the Spanish Association of Playmobil Collectors (AESCLICK).
Under the title “Playmobil clicks reconquer the military museum”, the exhibition will be open to the public with free admission from Tuesday to Sunday.
The exhibition has six large dioramas, some of them over 20 square meters, which transport visitors to key moments in history, from the Battle of Almansa to international NATO missions, all represented with thousands of figures and meticulously recreated scenarios.
The pieces, most of them customized and not commercially available, have been prepared by more than 20 collectors from all over Spain, who have worked for months to give shape to this impressive exhibition.
Visiting hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, and Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00. The museum is closed on Mondays.
In addition to the exhibition, fans of the Playmobil world will be able to enjoy a Collectors’ Meeting and Collectors’ Market, which will be held from May 23 to 25, with free admission. Exclusive and limited edition pieces will be available for purchase.
The Military History Museum, located in the San Juan de Ribera Barracks, in the Alameda de Valencia, has an area of more than 3,500 m² and is a reference in the dissemination of the Spanish military past.
