The Department of Tourism of the City of Valencia has launched a program of guided tours through four of the most attractive neighborhoods of the city: Patraix, Cabanyal-Canyamelar, Malva-rosa and Benimàmet.
These routes are part of the “Neighborhood Tourism” Program, designed to highlight and promote the unique tourist and cultural resources of each Valencian neighborhood.
In the case of the Malva-rosa, visits will take place on July 6 and August 30 in Spanish, with the latter date including sign language interpretation. In addition, on July 13 the visit will be in Valencian, while on August 24 it will be in English. All visits will start at 7:00 pm.
In Benimàmet, guided tours will be held on July 27 in Valencian and August 10 in Spanish, with the latter date also offering sign language interpretation. Both visits will begin at 7:00 pm.
The Cabanyal-Canyamelar will host guided tours on June 22 in Spanish, July 21 in English and August 24 in Spanish with sign language interpretation. The June 22 visit will begin at 11:00 am, while the other two will be at 7:00 pm.
Finally, Patraix will receive guided tours on June 29 in Spanish, July 13 in Valencian and August 31 in Spanish with sign language interpretation. The June visit will begin at 11:00 am, while the other two will be at 7:00 pm.
All visits will last an estimated one and a half to two hours, and will be free of charge for registration. To participate in the tours, interested parties should send an e-mail to inscripcionturismo@valencia.es with the full name and telephone number of each person wishing to attend. A maximum of four people may register by e-mail.
