March 20 is a date marked on the calendar of many veteran Fallas enthusiasts. It is a tradition as well-established as it is understated: the day after the biggest night of the Fallas, stores specializing in Fallas attire kick off their annual sales to clear out the season’s inventory with the best deals on fabrics, mantillas, trimmings, and accessories.
Leading stores in the sector , such as Álvaro Moliner, Per a lluir, and Roa Textil, among others, usually launch special promotions during the last weeks of March, with discounts ranging from 20% to 30% off the regular seasonal price, both in their physical stores in downtown Valencia and online.
An opportunity that the most forward-thinking Fallas enthusiasts know well and that, year after year, generates demand far exceeding what might be expected for the day after a major festival.
So much so that in previous years, lines have formed in the early morning hours outside the doors of some stores.
The Fallas low-cost fair, another opportunity
Beyond the usual stores, this weekend Valencia is hosting the Fallas Low Cost Fair, an event where fabric and textile brands and workshops sell their 2026 stock directly with significant discounts.
The event will take place on March 21 and 22 at the Sercotel Sorolla Palace Hotel, located at 58 Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
