Enlightenment has been developed by the same creative minds behind Genesis. This show, which was seen to great acclaim in Valencia in 2024, evocatively imagined the origin of the Earth. Now it is Antonio Vivaldi ‘s most famous work that inspires this new show. Whether you enjoyed Genesis or you were left wanting to see it, Enlightenment is a great opportunity to experience similar sensations but with a totally different show: it has other music, new projections and a new stage.
An audiovisual story inspired by Vivaldi

Antonio Vivaldi ‘sFour Seasons is one of the most popular works of classical music. Enlightenment offers an unexpected twist: the soundscapes of the Italian master’s compositions take on new life accompanied by spectacular light and color projections that are visual art made with cutting-edge technology.
Each note translates on the stage of the San José de Calasanz Parish into sinuous shapes and visual impacts that run along the ceilings and walls of the church. The combination of music playing in excellent acoustics with this visual show will thrill us, relax us and even give room for reflection and recollection.

This immersive show is composed of six acts, which explore the cycle of life and philosophical concepts. On one side we have the first four, dedicated to the four seasons. The show begins with Spring, symbol of rebirth and hope. It is followed by Summer, with all its warmth and joy. Autumn brings introspection and the transition to Winter, with its stillness and melancholy, representing the end of a cycle.
As a final apotheosis, two extra acts. On the one hand, Ignorance, which represents the human condition and the challenges that life brings us. On the other, Illumination, which gives way to an explosion of bright colors that represent liberation, and the overcoming of pain and suffering.
San José de Calasanz, a unique setting in Valencia.

The Church of the Royal College of the Pious Schools (or Parish of San José de Calasanz), located in the historic district of Velluters and very close to the València Nord station, is a baroque style building built in the eighteenth century. It is a rara avis within the Valencian heritage, as it moves away from the usual classicist sobriety of Valencian religious buildings of that time and embraces the spirit of the great European Baroque temples.
This elegance and majesty are perfect for hosting a show like Enlightenment, which is uniquely adapted to each place where it is held. And the greatness of this show is that it is different in each space where it is projected, thanks to the meticulous work of Projektil Art. This multidisciplinary team does field work and custom designs its projections, taking advantage of the architectural elements of each stage.
