More than 200 drones will light up the sky of Valencia this Wednesday October 8 with the show “Oceans” on the eve of the 9 d’Octubre, Day of the Comunitat Valenciana.
It will be the first time to celebrate a technological exhibition of this type for the Day of the Comunitat Valenciana. It will take place at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències at 23:00 hours.
This will be one of the highlights of the program presented by the Generalitat Valenciana for 2025. The air show, which is part of the institutional celebrations, will precede the traditional fireworks display, scheduled for 23:59 hours in the same location, over the Monteolivete bridge.
As a curiosity, the show will incorporate the use of 18 drones equipped with cold spark technology, integrating flashes of cold fire in the aerial choreography to evoke the use of gunpowder.
In the technological section, sources of the organization have detailed that each drone has RGB LED light systems. These devices are able to create dynamic lighting effects and reproduce up to 16 million color ranges, allowing the generation of three-dimensional figures visible at a distance of up to one kilometer.
A team of pilots and production technicians is in charge of supervising the execution to ensure that the movements develop in perfect synchrony with the music and the programmed lighting effects.
The incorporation of this drone show is the main novelty in the program of events of 2025, which will also project a videomapping on the facade of the Generalitat, in addition to other events such as the exhibition of the Senyera in the Town Hall, the civic procession and the mascletá later in the Town Hall Square.
