Free concerts, fireworks, screenings… Valencia is already thoroughly enjoying its 9 d’Octubre program for 2026. And although the Medieval Market in the Turia Gardens will remain open until October 13, the question of what to do about the emotional hangover after the big day is inevitable.
A sense of longing that can be cured with another dose of nostalgia: a concert dedicated to Disney movies, from the ones kids sing about on the street today to the ones their parents used to sing. Soundtracks that a live string quartet will perform this Saturday.
The recital will take place in the Red Auditorium at the Oceanogràfic in Valencia, where the stage will be lit by thousands of candles in the style of a candlelight concert, as this is one of the special editions of the famous concert series.
The program for the Disney-themed concert at the Oceanogràfic in Valencia

The concert’s repertoire spans the soundtracks of some of Disney’s most beloved films: The Lion King, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Hercules, Coco, Encanto, Beauty and the Beast, Enchanted, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Toy Story 2, Tarzan, Tangled, and Up.
They won’t be performing the complete soundtrack of each movie, but rather the best love songs from each one. So, for example, from *Encanto* they’ll play “Dos Oruguitas,” and from *Aladdin*, “A Whole New World.”
In Valencia, there are two dates: October 10 and 24. All tickets for the 24th and for the first showing on the 10th are already sold out, but tickets are still available for this Saturday’s showing at 9:00 p.m. So we recommend booking in advance to avoid ending up like any average person watching *Coco* for the first time: in tears.
