
Valencia is decked out to host one of its oldest and most symbolic festivities: Corpus Christi, known as the Festa Grossa, which this 2025 comes loaded with events that combine religiosity, folklore and cultural heritage.
From Monday 16 to Sunday 22 June, the city will experience an intense program full of emblematic moments that revive centuries of history.

Monday, June 16th
- 19:30 h: Dançá dels infantillos del Corpus in the Monastery of San Miguel de los Reyes. Directed by Rodrigo Madrid.
Thursday 19th June
- 20:00 h: Solemn Eucharist of Corpus Christi in the Church of the Patriarch (Real Colegio Seminario de Corpus Christi), officiated by the Auxiliary Bishop of Valencia and accompanied by the Cathedral Choral Society. At the end, Corpus Christi Proclamation by Óscar Rueda Pitarque.
- 22:00 h: Dinner of the Proclamation at the Hotel Senator (private event of Amics del Corpus).
Friday, June 20
- 20:00 h: Transfer of the Rocks (traditional floats) from the Alameditas de Serranos to the Plaza de la Virgen, with the participation of the Rocks of the Virgen de los Desamparados and the Holy Chalice.
- 23:30 h: Nit d’albaes, traditional Valencian singing, starting at the Casa de las Rocas and going through the usual stops.
Saturday, June 21
- 12:00 h: Penja de poals (hanging of wells on balconies) in Cabillers and Avellanas streets, preparation for the traditional “poalà” the next day.
- 18:00 h: Representation of the Mysteries in the Plaza de la Virgen, by the Altars of Carmen and the Baptismal Font.
- 19:30 h: Concert dedicated to Corpus Christi in the Plaza de la Virgen.
- 23:00 h: Extraordinary concert by the Municipal Band of Valencia in the Plaza de la Virgen.
- 24:00 h: Nit de Festa, musical parade along the reverse route of the procession, with awards for balconies, shop windows and decorated facades.
Sunday June 22 (Corpus Christi Big Day)
- 10:30 h: Solemn Pontifical Mass in the Cathedral of Valencia. At the end, distribution of blessed bread at the Puerta de los Hierros, following a centuries-old tradition.
- 11:00 h to 14:00 h: Activities and attention to the public in the Plaza de la Virgen, with monitors of the Rocks and the parade of Amics del Corpus.
- 12:00 h: Cavalcade of the Convite, with traditional characters, dances and the comparsa de la Degollà. Route: Manises square, Caballeros street, Plaza de la Virgen, Micalet street, Plaza de la Reina, Cabillers, Avellanas and Plaza de la Almoina.
- 14:00 h: Mascletà in the Town Hall Square, by Pirotecnia Zaragozana.
- 16:30 h: Passage of the Rocks through the historic center of Valencia.
- 17:15 h: Departure of the murta carts.
- 17:30 h: Departure of the giants, dances of the nanos, the magrama and the Moma.
- 19:00 h: Solemn Corpus Christi Procession, with the participation of biblical and traditional characters, starting from the Cathedral (Apostles’ Gate) and going through the historic center until returning to the Cathedral.
