On November 1st, All Saints’ Day, it is a tradition to go to the cemeteries to visit loved ones who are no longer here. It is a day when family and friends gather to decorate the niches of their deceased.
For this reason, the seven municipal cemeteries of the city have extended their opening hours during the days before and after All Saints’ Day.
Until November 3, the cemeteries will extend their usual hours, being able to visit from 9 am to 6 pm, including Sundays and holidays.
Floral decorations before tombstones and niches will have to be placed before 11 am on November 1st and other decorations such as tombstones or crosses will only be allowed until 5 pm on October 30th.
In addition, to facilitate access by public transport, some EMT lines have been reinforced and parking areas have been enabled for individuals, either by car, motorcycle or bicycle.
Specifically, lines 9, 10, 18 and 99 will run more frequently between Saturday, October 26 and Friday, November 1, both days included.
