Queen has never been a passing fad and Candlelight, the worldwide phenomenon of concerts among thousands of candles, knows this better than anyone. That’s why, on selected dates in the coming months, this multi-sensory experience will dedicate different evenings of live music in Valencia to the iconic British rock band, where their greatest hits will sound like never before: in their most classic format, by candlelight and under the luxurious ceilings of The Westin Valencia Hotel.
Two tributes, two repertoires and one stage
Freddie Mercury’s band was the paradigm of the transformation of the rock and roll genre and, after many decades, continues to feed the euphoria of millions of music lovers. We can safely say that Queen was, therefore, a musical milestone, as were their absolutely electrifying performances that brought together thousands of attendees chanting in unison.
Now it is Candlelight ‘s turn to relive that power to the rhythm of We Will Rock You, Don’t Stop me Now or I Want to Break Free, and it will do so with two different proposals: Tribute to Queen and Queen vs. ABBA. Both concerts will take place at The Westin Valencia Hotel and, depending on the date chosen, will be performed by a solo pianist or a string quartet. The second concert will also feature the Swedish band’s great pop anthems, because when it comes to choosing between Queen and ABBA… Why not take them both?
