The city of Valencia will celebrate the 7th edition of the Artichoke Festival of l’Horta de Campanar-Benimàmet, an event that will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the square in front of the Church of Campanar.
Artichokes are one of the most sought-after foods from the Valencian countryside and are currently in season. This festival aims to promote this local product and will feature a wide variety of activities throughout the day.
The festival will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a parade led by the Campanar Youth Band, which will take attendees to the square.
Program for the 7th Campanar Artichoke Festival

- 11:30 a.m.: Various workshops will be held with the participation of IES Campanar, Dimonis Socarrats, various CEIPs (Campanar, Giner de los Ríos, Comunitat Valenciana), Escoles Sant Josep, CMJ Campanar, Per L’Horta, and Llavors d’Ací, among others.
- 12:30 p.m.: Grup Farfalar and Colla de dolçainers El Follet will liven up the square with a Ball de Carrer.
- 1:00 p.m.: The highlight will be the Gran Carxofà, a tasting of artichokes from the Campanar-Benimàmet vegetable gardens.

To enjoy the tasting, tickets will be sold in advance at the neighborhood bakeries: Forn de Manuela, Forn de Llàtzer, J&N Sweets Gourmet, and Verdulería Bandera. They will also be available on the day of the festival at the organization point while supplies last.
In addition to the main tasting, there will be a farmers’ market (mercado de productors) and artichoke tapas and dishes can be sampled at neighborhood bars such as Serranía, Restaurante Ciro, Bar Restaurante Iván, Cafetería Restaurante Lo Roque, Bar El Cazador, La Tabernita de Vane, and Restaurante Los Alpes.
