Watching professional dancers perform arabesques, pliés and pirouettes live is something that borders on magical. But if we add to that infinite flashes of LED lights and the unforgettable story of a certain princess who woke up thanks to a kiss, the result is not only magic, it is “We Call It Ballet”. And Valencia continues to add dates in which to relive the tale of Sleeping Beauty through a (luminous) classic choreography.
New performances continue with the emblematic Teatro Flumen as the chosen stage for the coming months, on selected dates. Of course, seating is limited, so if you could not enjoy the show on previous dates, make sure you reserve your place before they run out!
What is “We Call It Ballet”?
It is an ode to ballet, an unparalleled masterpiece that reimagines this lyrical dance born in the 15th century to bring it to all ages. Here technical prowess, classical scenery and traditional costumes are elevated in a fantastic light show. Tchaikovsky’s famous work is adapted to a 60-minute journey that goes beyond the imagination and that you can enjoy in a night of unique visual splendor.
The ballet, its narrative and spectacle
Ballet has come a long way since its origins in the European courts of the Renaissance.
