The 2026–27 season will not be remembered as just another one for Valencia CF. The move to Nou Mestalla is now a reality, and while the club plans how to allocate seats for the upcoming season (and tries to avoid a sporting disaster), many Valencia fans are already thinking about taking a memento from Mestalla home with them.
It’s a recurring thought and an open secret among season-ticket holders that, when the last game of the season ends, many will tear up a piece of turf or leave the Valencia temple with their seat in their arms. But the club wants to prevent major damage to the facilities and will offer members the chance to purchase their seats at an affordable price.
According to a statement released this morning by Valencia CF, an outside company will be responsible for managing, refurbishing, and decorating the seats to leave them in perfect condition so they can be preserved as collector’s items.
The club has not provided further details on how this operation will be carried out. Javier Solís, the club’s general manager, confirmed this on Wednesday during a press conference following the presentation of the new season and season ticket prices for the future Nou Mestalla.
