The first of the mascletás suspended during the Fallas 2025 because of the rain will be fired this coming Sunday May 4 on the occasion of Mother’s Day. Pibierzo Pyrotechnics will be in charge of lighting the fuse at 2 pm in the Town Hall Square of Valencia.
As the Mayoress of Valencia, María José Catalá, said a few weeks ago, this May 4th will become “a tribute to all the mothers of the city”.
After this Sunday, Valencia will again have two mascletás: on May 11 (Festivity of the Virgen de los Desamparados) by Pirotecnia Dragón, and on June 22 (Festivity of Corpus Christi), by Pirotecnia Zaragozana.
