The travel voucher for the Valencian Community is back for those affected by the storm. Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has allocated a budget of 9.1 million euros to fund the Bono Viaje Recuperem Turisme 2026 aid program.
This initiative will cover the cost of vacations for residents of areas affected by the storm who were unable to apply for the previous round of aid due to the exhaustion of public funds.
Following the floods in October 2024, the Valencian government designed an initial aid program to help the affected population take a break. This new resolution continues the support measures and resolves the status of applications that remained pending last year.
Eligibility requirements and automatic allocation
The administrative process will be managed automatically to expedite approval times. Beneficiaries, who must be registered residents of the municipalities affected by the disaster and have applied for aid in the previous round, will not have to submit any documents or complete new paperwork.
The regional administration will automatically verify the requirements of each application and allocate the aid according to the order of priority on the consolidated waiting list from 2025. Each household or applicant will be entitled to a single voucher.
Conditions for stays and deadlines
The subsidy will cover 100% of the travel cost, up to a maximum of 350 euros. The program’s regulations require that the reservation include a minimum of two consecutive nights at any of the tourist accommodations participating in the program. If the cost of the contracted services exceeds the cap set by the Valencian Government, the user will be responsible for paying the difference.
Beneficiaries will have ample time to plan their vacations, as the travel period will extend until December 22, 2026, a timeframe that includes the summer season.
Once the computer system allocates the funds, citizens will receive an email notification with a discount code. This code must be presented at a participating travel agency or hotel within a maximum of 10 business days of receipt. If the reservation is not made within that time, the voucher will expire permanently.
Included services and participating companies
In addition to basic accommodation, the voucher allows for the inclusion of other complementary services offered by the establishments in the reservation, such as half-board meals, health treatments, sports activities, organized excursions, and parking fees.
Hotels, apartments, and travel agencies that have already registered for the 2025 campaign will automatically remain registered for this year. Meanwhile, new companies in the sector wishing to join the program’s supplier directory may register until November 30, 2026.
