The Valencian Regional Government will allocate an additional 7,131,791 euros to extend rental assistance to all applicants from the 2025 call for applications who met the requirements but were excluded when the initial funding ran out.
With this extraordinary expansion, 12,731 families will receive the subsidy, compared to the 9,762 who received it under the initial resolution, as part of the 2022-2025 Housing Plan established by the central government and administered by the autonomous communities.
The resolution was published this Monday in the Official Gazette of the Valencian Regional Government (DOGV) and covers approximately 2,969 households that had not been included in the initial allocation. This is the second time in history that the Regional Government has guaranteed the benefit to 100% of applicants who meet the requirements: the first was in 2024.
The 2025 call for applications has the highest number of beneficiaries since these grants were established: 41% more than in 2024. The total budget allocated amounts to 30.9 million euros, also the highest recorded to date, both in overall figures and in the amount per beneficiary, according to data from the Valencian Regional Government.
Among the most significant changes in this edition is the increase in the eligible rent, which has risen from 750 to 900 euros per month, raising the maximum subsidy to 400 euros per month.
Beneficiaries must submit, within one month from the day following the publication of this decree in the Official Gazette of the Valencian Regional Government, their acceptance of the grant and of these regulatory terms, as well as receipts proving payment of rent for the subsidized period.
