The Plenary Session of the Regional Government has officially approved the decree establishing thework calendarfor the year 2027 within the territory of the Valencian Community.
The regulation establishes a total of twelve non-working days, which will be paid and non-recoverable.
The decision has received the required prior report from the Tripartite Council for the Development of Labor Relations, the advisory body comprising trade unions, business organizations, and the Catalan government.
Public holidays for 2027
The decree designates the following 12 days as public holidays throughout the autonomous region:
- January 1: New Year’s Day.
- January 6: Epiphany of the Lord.
- March 19: St. Joseph’s Day.
- March 26: Good Friday.
- March 29: Easter Monday.
- May 1: Labor Day.
- October 9: Valencian Community Day.
- October 12: Spain’s National Day.
- November 1: All Saints’ Day.
- December 6: Constitution Day.
- December 8: Immaculate Conception.
- December 25: Christmas Day.
In addition to this regional calendar, each municipality in the Valencian Community will propose two additional local holidays. This will complete the fourteen non-working days allocated to each municipality for the year 2027.
