Do you find yourself humming the Peaky Blinders theme song before the title even appears, and have you seriously considered buying a flat cap because there isn’t a single character who doesn’t look good in one—and you’re not going to be any different? We have the perfect plan for you. Candlelight: Peaky Blinders is coming to Valencia with a concert dedicated to the series at the Ateneo Mercantil, right in the heart of the Town Hall Square.
This isn’t the first time Candlelight has paid tribute by candlelight to soundtracks we all know (and love). It’s already done so with *Bridgerton*, *The Lord of the Rings*, and *The Wizard of Oz*, and now it’s the Shelbys’ turn.
For those who aren’t quite sure what we’re talking about, the BBC series was created by Steven Knight and aired from 2013 to 2022. Six seasons in total, in which we follow the Shelby family through 1920s Birmingham, with Tommy at the helm. In 2026, the story continued with the film *The Immortal Man*. And the music? It’s practically another character, blending period atmosphere with modern rock.
They’ll play “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (the series’ opening theme) and “Do I Wanna Know?” by the Arctic Monkeys, among many other tracks. About an hour of live music where the only lighting comes from thousands of lit candles. There’s no dress code, but if you have a three-piece suit waiting for its moment, this is definitely it.
