Campanar is neither just another neighborhood nor just another town in Valencia. It is one of those places where you can truly experience Valencian culture, heritage, and authentic traditions. Especially during special events like the 5th Cultural Week, which runs from Monday, September 28, through October 4.
A week packed with activities for all ages: music, food, festivities, children’s workshops, more festivities… and the traditional correfoc, led by the Colla de Dimonis Socarrats de Campanar, which will wind its way through the streets of this historic town.
During these seven days, there will also be two special markets where you can buy locally sourced products: the fair-price market and an agroecological market. And of course, there will be plenty of room for tradition, with muixerangas, traditional dansà, parades, and a Gran Nit d’Albaes featuring local singers accompanied by dolçaina music.
It’s a very extensive program, with Saturday, October 3, taking center stage as the day with the most events—but it’s worth studying the schedule thoroughly to make sure you miss as little as possible. To help you do that, here’s the complete schedule for the 5th Campanar Cultural Week:
